Side, which is located between Antalya and Alanya, was one of the most important port cities of the Pamphilia region had a strong armada and it was famous of its markets where slave trade was made. The 15.000 people capacity amphitheatre that remain from the antique city until our days, Roman Bathhouses, State Agora, Vespasianus Monument and its Gate, Dionizos Temple, Nymphaion Fountain, Byzantine Basilica, Palace of the Priests and the muesum are the places that must definitely be visited and seen.
