Kemer is a seaside resort and district of Antalya Province on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, 40 km west of the city of Antalya.
Kemer is on the Gulf of Antalya, 53 km of sea coast with the skirts of the western Taurus mountains behind. The coast has the typical Mediterranean hot, dry weather and warm sea. Kemer is very important part in tourism in Turkey. Kemer counties (such as Kiriş, Tekirova, Çayova, Aslanbucak, Kuzdere, Beycik, Çamyuva, Göynük, Beldibi, Çıralı), there many well-quality touristic facilities can be found. Within the district, which is under the effect of mediterranean climate, there is a huge and modern marina with a capacity of accommodating 320 yachts at a time, making Kemer an important actor within the yacht tourism of Turkey.
