BOLU (Altitude: 786 m)

The Bolu hot springs are 5 km south of Bolu in the western Black Sea region in the foothills of the Ala Mountains.

Physio-Chemical Characteristics and Indications
The waters contain bicarbonate, sulphate, calcium, magnesium, and carbon dioxide. The pH is 5.82-6.36 and the temperature 42-44 C. The thermal waters are beneficial for the treatment of liver, gall bladder, kidney, and urinary problems.

Treatments
The thermal waters and steam are also good for drinking and inhaling. Near by is the privately operated Kucuk Kaplica.
